Assistant Seed Administrator 

As a leading supplier within the fresh produce industry we are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Seed Administrator to work within our busy Seed Department based at March, Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate should have excellent numeracy and literacy skills and be a flexible and adaptable team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics would be advantageous although not essential, consideration would be given to an experienced administrator.

Technical Manager

MBMG is a rapidly expanding multi million pound fresh produce company. We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join our team at March in Cambridgeshire.

In this challenging role you will be involved with the planning, production, harvesting and storage of potatoes. This will involve sampling produce and quality assurance, undertaking seed counts, liaising with suppliers and customers as well as providing general day to day assistance for the seed, trading and farming operations.

To be successful in this role you must have previous hands-on agricultural/farming experience, be computer literate and have excellent communication skills. BASIS qualification or similar certification is essential.

The successful candidate would be working with the existing Group Technical Manager through a transitional period. Driving licence is essential as due to geographical logistics there is an increased element of travelling.

Assistant Production and Storage Manager 

In this challenging role you will be involved with the planning, production, harvesting and storage of potatoes. Joining one of the UK’s market leading potato companies as part of an integral team you will be key to supporting management and helping it expand and achieve its objectives.

Liaising with growers and developing strong working relationships is essential.

The ideal person will have an agricultural/farming background and preferably previous potato experience. A computer literate, motivated, team player is needed.

Farm Account Manager and Own Growing/Storage Assistant  

Joining one of the UK’s market leading potato companies you will be supporting the Own Growing, Storage and Farm Account Management operation through liaising with staff, growers and contractors to help expand business operations and achieve organisation success.

Liaising with growers you will need to establish strong working relationships and have proven experience of procuring produce from a grower base and developing the grower base through new business.

The successful applicant will have an agricultural/farming background and qualification and have previous potato experience. You will need to be computer literate, self motivated and pro-active and be able to work as part of a team.
